The new multidirectional Panda Foot plating system includes plates offered in various styles, sizes and options; each anatomically pre-contoured and designed for specific procedures, and 1.5 / 2.0 / 2.3mm diameter locking and non-locking screws. The plates have profile thicknesses 1.2 mm. Panda Foot plating system provides many fracture / procedure-specific options which require minimal manipulation to provide necessary fixation (Hook Plates, Navicular Plates, Jones Fracture Plates, Cuboid Plates, 5th Metatarsal Plates, Akin Osteotomy Plates) INDICATIONS Panda Foot plating system is intended for use in stabilization of fresh fractures, revision procedures, joint fusion and reconstruction of small bones of the hand and feet, ankles, fingers and toes. The system can be used in both adult and pediatric patients. Examples include: • Metatarsal or metacarpal fractures and osteotomies • Cuboid fractures • Navicular fractures • Talar neck fractures • Jones and avulsion fractures of the 5th metatarsal • Lesser metatarsal shortening osteotomies (i.e., Weil Osteotomies) • Phalanges fractures and osteotomies PLATE FEATURES • Rounded edges & a smooth surface for soft tissue protection • Anatomically pre-contoured plate design supports the reduction of complex fractures • Atraumatic, rounded contour • Universal plate shapes are available in different lengths • Plates include an elongated k-wire hole and a compression hole • Secure closure of the fracture SCREW FEATURES • Available in a flexible choice of screw diameter - 1.5mm / 2.0 mm / 2.3 mm • All standard screws and locking screws fit all plate holes due to the same diameter of the head
