Product Details Implantable and Biocompatible: The DST centi-T temperature data logger is hermetically sealed and made from biocompatible housing (ceramic and epoxy), designed for simple animal implantation and retrieval. The unique ceramic housing guarantees biocompatibility. Applications: Ideal for studies on both free-ranging and captive animals where a detailed temperature profile is needed, including baseline measurements, measuring immune response to infection, testing vaccine efficacy and safety pharmacology, and measuring physiological changes and circadian rhythm. Stress-free Measurements: The logger measures temperature automatically, providing a comprehensive data set throughout research with no disturbance to the animal. Detailed Temperature Profile: Long battery life allows for both long-term and short-term studies with short intervals (down to once every second), giving a detailed temperature profile. Battery life is up to 9 years when sampling at 10-minute intervals. Sampling Modes: Two modes for sampling: single interval throughout the period or multiple intervals. Multiple intervals are useful for frequent measurements at certain periods. Memory Extension: Available with extended memory capacity to store up to 524,066 temperature measurements.
